The world leader in the field of offshore wind energy has decided to extend the lease in the Varso 2 building and enlarge its office by another 2,355 sq m. The Polish headquarters of one of the most sustainable energy companies in the world will now occupy a total of 7,160 sqm. surface.

Ørsted is the world's largest and most experienced developer of offshore wind farms with over 30 years of experience. Originating from Denmark, the global leader in the offshore market currently operates in several markets, including the United States, several markets in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. Ørsted is a global leader in climate action and is the only energy company in the world with a science-backed net-zero emission goal endorsed by the Science Based Targets (SBTi) initiative. Poland is one of the key markets for Ørsted, where the company already employs over 650 people in its Warsaw office. Ørsted supports the green transformation of Poland by investing together with PGE in the Baltica Offshore Wind Farm with a capacity of 2.5 GW.

The Warsaw office reflects Ørsted's vision, i.e. striving to build a world powered only by renewable energy sources. Based on the idea of "less waste", the workspace reduces the negative impact on the environment thanks to the use of biodegradable or recycled materials. The office has been designed in accordance with the principles of the circular economy. This friendly working environment also combines functionality and care for the well-being of employees. Natural vegetation is ubiquitous – 1,752 individual plants were used in the project, which translates to almost 3 plants per employee.

Varso 2 is one of the most ecological office buildings in Poland, which uses many solutions that help reduce the carbon footprint and the consumption of raw materials. The HRA Architekci project, confirmed by BREEAM and WELL certification, is characterized by a "biophilic design" approach close to nature, allowing building users to rest on the green terraces located on the roof.

Varso 2 is part of a multi-functional place that includes offices, a hotel, an innovation center, a fitness club and a clinic. On the ground floor, you can take advantage of the gastronomic offer of the Quattro Formaggi and Meet&Eat restaurants, the Vincent bakery or the Green Caffe Nero cafe, and meet your daily needs in Rossmann, Paper Concept, Żabka stores, Hair & Nail Spa salon and Enterprise Rent-a-Car.

The group of employers whose offices are located in Varso 2 also includes Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, CIC Warsaw, Nvidia, Workday, act BSWW, Ipsen and Tink.
