VIBE reveals the facades. They refer to the industrial history of Wola

The construction of the VIBE office building at the intersection of Kolejowa and Towarowa streets has entered the next stage. The scaffolding disappears and passers-by see fragments of the building's facade, which refers to the industrial history of Wola. The newest Ghelamco building will provide future tenants with 15,000 sq m. sq m top-class office space and will be the first in Poland to receive its own musical DNA.

Materials in shades of brown, as well as vertical and horizontal divisions, give the façade an industrial character, thus referring to the tradition of the district and the place itself. Several dozen years ago, in the area where the office building is being built, there were railway tracks and sidings serving the freight station next to it. Today, only the names of the streets remind us of this: Towarowa and Kolejowa, in the corner of which VIBE is being built. At the same time, finishing and installation works are underway inside the building.

When designing VIBE, we thought about a symbolic reference to the interesting and generally unknown past of this place. The interior architecture and the appearance of the facade were also created with the participation of the creative agency and Wojciech Urbański, who inspired us with his idea for sound and visual identification. Thanks to this, we have achieved a modern and at the same time local project - says Jarosław Zagórski, managing director of Ghelamco Poland. – We are looking forward to opening the building to the first tenants with whom we have already signed contracts. There is great interest in the investment because it is a unique project. It will be the first office building in Poland to receive its own audiosphere resonating in its interior, giving it a unique and peculiar character. VIBE also attracts with its central, well-connected location and the highest comfort of use, thanks to the use of intelligent and green solutions consistent with ESG requirements. We believe it will be an ideal place to work.
VIBE is a city-forming project. An important part of the second stage will be a publicly accessible city square with a passage and a free-standing gastronomic and cultural pavilion. The first stage of the complex will be completed at the turn of the first and second quarter of 2024. The architectural studio PIG Architekci is responsible for the design of the building.

The first office building with musical DNA
The name of the project - VIBE - is a reference to the energetic and metropolitan atmosphere that will prevail in Ghelamco's latest investment. For the first time in Poland, the building will receive its own audiosphere, specially composed for it, which will give it a unique and peculiar character and will adapt in real time to the pace and rhythm of life inside the building. Wojciech Urbański, a famous Polish composer, producer and sound designer, was invited to compose VIBE's audiosphere, which will become the symbol of Ghelamco's new investment. In addition to composing music, a whole set of acoustic and visual experiences has also been designed that will accompany VIBE tenants and visitors. For this purpose, a number of media were used - from 3D graphics to motion design, parametrics and sound design.

In line with ESG
VIBE was designed in line with Ghelamco's ESG strategy. The office building will use an ultra-modern Building Energy Management System (BEMS), which will significantly reduce energy consumption. The sustainable nature of the complex is confirmed by certificates in the following systems: WELL, BREEAM, SmartScore, WiredScore and Green Building Standard. In the first two, the developer's goal is to obtain certificates at the highest possible levels: Platinum and Outstanding. Ultimately, the office building will be powered by 100% clean energy.

Like other Ghelamco buildings, VIBE will be equipped with the proprietary Signal OS system, which monitors the condition of the building and thus ensures an optimal working environment. Installing anti-pandemic solutions, such as virus-killing UV lamps in elevators and ventilation systems, will ensure the health and comfort of users.

In order to encourage tenants to use ecological means of transport, VIBE will provide rich infrastructure for cyclists (including lockers, showers, bicycle parking, repair station) and chargers for electric bicycles and cars.
